Nima Radi is an Iranian-Austrian artist based in Vienna. His practice moves between sculpture, painting, and installation, exploring fragility, memory, and the metaphysical space between presence and absence with a poetic sensitivity.
Radi’s work reflects on the vulnerability of existence, the weight of silence, and the slow transitions of form. His figures often appear fragmented, suspended, or detached from time and place. A central concept in his work is the “construction of broken structures” – both materially and metaphorically. Using gauze, wire, wood, light, and spatial emptiness, he creates fragile yet resonant presences.
His recent series An Ode to M is a personal tribute to his late brother – a quiet transformation of grief into light and form. For Radi, art is not about answers, but about creating a space for reflection – a silent dialogue with what cannot be fully spoken.
He lives and works in Vienna.
